1. A Beautiful Life (2023 )

A Beautiful Life is a 2023 Danish drama romantic musical film directed by Mehdi Avaz and starring Christopher Lund Nissen. It was released by Netflix on  June 1, 2023. Elliott is a 20-year-old Danish fisherman with n  family left. He was orphaned as a child after an accident. With a little money in his pocket, his happiness is an extraordinary sound. One night, he performs at a club to do his friend Oliver a favour and is spotted by Suzanne, a successful high-profile music executive. Suzanne soon reunites Elliot with her estranged daughter and music producer Lilly. Elliott accepts their help in trying to write and record the song, and success comes quickly, almost overwhelmingly. On his way to stardom, the young man must deal with sudden popularity, growing feelings for Lilly, and unresolved issues from the past. Elliott, a young fisherman with an extraordinary voice, gets the opportunity of a lifetime when Suzanne, a successful high-profile music director, discovers him. Suzanne soon reunites Elliot with her estranged daughter and music producer Lilly. On his journey to stardom, struggles in the past threaten not only his big break but also his budding love for Lilly.

2. A Tourist’s Guide to Love (2023)

A Tourist Guide to Love is a 2023 romantic comedy film directed by Steven K. Tsuchida and written by Eirene Tran Donohue. Starring Rachael Leigh Cook, Scott Ly, Missi Pyle, Ben Feldman, Nondumiso Tembe and Andrew Barth Feldman. Tourist travel professional Amanda Riley embarks on an undercover mission to learn about Vietnam’s tourism industry after her five-year relationship with John suddenly ends. Her boss, Mona, convinces her to get a manicure, which she thinks is a proposal, but she suggests taking a break in Ohio. He is met at the airport in Vietnam by  Saigon Silver Star tour guide Sinh and his cousin Anh, the owner’s daughter. In the evening, he meets other pack tourists. To keep the purpose of the trip a secret, Amanda advises them not to reveal their profession as a kind of game. As the group sits outside happily chatting about the show and eating food from street vendors, Anh receives word that Tour has bought the tour company. John congratulates Amanda so she has to admit her involvement. Shocked, Sinh starts storming off and Amanda follows him, b   believes it was all a lie. The next day, John tells Amanda that he will be back in Los Angeles at the end of the year so they can look for houses. He realizes that she is not motivated to marry him, she just wants to please him. Amanda realizes she doesn’t want it anymore and says goodbye. Meanwhile, the cousins reconcile and Sinh decides to travel to settle things with his father. When Amanda finds out, Anh helps her drive across town to stop her from leaving and admit her feelings.

3.Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar (2023)

Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar will hit the theaters on 03.08.2023 which coincides with the Holi weekend. The film received mixed reviews from critics. The film was a financial success, grossing over ₹220.10 million worldwide, the fourth highest-grossing Indian film of 2023 and eighth in India. Rohan “Mickey” Arora is the son of a wealthy Punjabi industrialist Ramesh Arora and lives with his family in Delhi. He and his best friend Manu Dabbas secretly work as break-up consultants, helping people break up with their partners. Mikki and Manu travel to Spain for Manu’s bachelor party. They are accompanied by Manu’s fiancé Kinchi and his best friend Nisha “Tinni” Malhotra. Mikki and Tinni meet and eventually fall in love. After returning, Manu and Kinchi get married, while Mikki and Tinni introduce each other to their families. Bot families accept their relationship and start preparing for the wedding. Tinni, on the other hand, feels that she is not ready for marriage and decides to divorce Miki. Tinni contacts a divorccounselloror on the phone, not knowing it’s Mikki, and asks for him with the divorce. Mickey doesn’t know he’s talking to Tinni, so he agrees to help. Sometimes later, they meet again at Kinch’s baby shower. Tinni’s leg is injured while dancing at the event, and Mikki takes care of her with her family, which makes her realize the value of living together as a family. Speaking to Tinni, Miki’s niece Chhoti blurts out a unique phrase she heard from Miki, which makes Tinni realize that Mikki was a divorce consultant. He confronts her and says that he is disappointed that even though he knew the truth, he didn’t try to work things o   with her and that she still loves him. He says he is going to London permanently and goes to the airport. Mickey’s family advises him not to let her go, risking his love for them. Mickey rushes to the airport with the whole family to stop Tinni and catch her when she boards the plane. He tries to get Mickey to take the oath he swore and then Mickey proposes to  Mickey and she accepts. Both get married and live happily together as a family.

4. Rich in Love 2 (2023)

Rich in Love 2 is a Portuguese film written and directed by Bruno Garotti. Like its predecessor, this film stars Danilo Mesquita and Giovanna Lancellotti as the lovebirds, Teto and Paula. But unlike Rich in Love, the new film is set in the Amazon rainforest instead of Brazil. According to Netflix, the official synopsis for the film reads. While watching Rich in Love isn’t necessary to understand this sequel, it certainly helps. In the first film, Tetos was seen as the spoiled son of a poor ketchup merchant. He falls in love with a young doctor named Paula, but unfortunately, he had to move to the Amazon rainforest to become a volunteer doctor. This new movie picks up where the first movie left off, with Paula leaving Rio de Janeiro and moving to the Amazon with another male doctor, Dr Tawan. Ba home, Te opened a branch called Teto Fresco under his father’s banner. But his father decided to close the brand and give him the responsibility of managing the entire company. Sad, Teto broke up and decided to follow Paula and be with her. Here he discovered his love for the tomato business. It just appears out of the blue because anyone going into the sequel would expect continuity from the first film. Unfortunately, Rich Man in Love 2 is completely cumbersome and sometimes even difficult to understand. The story of Teto and Paula is not emphasized at all. The filmmakers even tried to make it a love triangle then by introducing Dr Tawan, but that too seemed like a failed attempt. Paula and Dr Tawan had almost no chemistry,  neither did Paula and Teto.

5. Your Place or Mine(2023)

Your Place or Mine is a 2023 American romantic comedy film written and directed by Aline Brosh McKenna in her directorial debut. The movie stars Reese Witherspoon (who is also a producer) and Ashton Kutcher as best friends who decide to exchange apartments for a week. Also starring Jesse Williams, Zoë Chao, Wesley Kimmel, Tig Notaro and Steve Zahn. The film was released on Netflix on February 10, 2023. It received mixed to negative reviews from critics who criticized the lack of chemistry between Witherspoon and Kutcher. In Los Angeles in 2003,  Debbie Dunn and Peter Coleman have sex with another couple after playing poker and spend the night together at his house. Twenty years later, Debbie and Peter are best friends. He moved to New York and became a successful businessman,  still living in Los Angeles and working as an accountant at his son Jack’s high school. On Debbie’s last day in New York, she takes an exam and accidentally discovers Peter’s hidden memories of her. When Debbie meets  Theo, he tells her that he gave her an interview with Macmillan so they could meet. However, he admits that he is in love with someone else. And for a long time. Peter and Debbie come face to face at LAX. After a heated argument, she declares that she is deeply in love with him and has been since they met, and they share a passionate kiss. Six months later they got married, Peter became a writer and moved with them to California. She is an editor at an indie publishing house and Jack is on the hockey team.
