The CEO of a Bengaluru-based start-up company had reportedly killed her son, who was aged 4 years in North Goa. The woman, who is identified as Suchana Seth, was arrested in Chitradurga (Karnataka) while she was carrying her son’s dead body in a bag.
Suchana Seth, who comes from Bengaluru and is the CEO of an AI-start-up, was nabbed by the cops on Monday for reportedly ending the life of her 4-year-old son.
As per reports from various media houses, Suchana purportedly killed her child to stop her ex-husband from meeting him.
The police arrested the accused, Suchana Seth, in Chitradurga. She was carrying a bag with her that had her son’s dead body while she was journeying towards Bengaluru from Goa. A court in Goa shifted her to 6 days of police custody subsequent to her arrest.
A Troubled Marriage
As per the police, Suchana Seth, who is now aged 39, is the CEO of a Bengaluru-based company called Mindful AI Lab. Seth, as well as her estranged husband, had filed for divorce in the year 2020, following 10 years of marriage.
The court had granted permission to the child’s father to meet him every Sunday. Disturbed and depressed by the court’s order, Suchana reportedly devised a plan to end the life of her son.
Suchana Seth had apparently killed her son in a service apartment named Sol Banyan Grande that is situated in North Goa’s Candolim before a scheduled meeting with Suchana’s husband, as per sources.
The staff of Sol Banyan Grande grew suspicious as Suchana Seth checked in, accompanied by her son, but left alone. The staff of Sol Banyan Grande then alerted the local police.
The Superintendent of Police of North Goa, Nidhin Valsan, stated that Suchana had asked the staff to look for a taxi for Bengaluru.

Subsequent to the checkout, when the staff of Sol Banyan Grande went to clean the room, they discovered red stains everywhere, which they thought were blood.
Without wasting time, the staff then informed the police. The cops reached the spot as well as attempted to reach Suchana through the taxi driver.
On the basis of the preliminary questioning of accused Suchana Seth, Superintendent of Police of North Goa Nidhin Valsan stated that the woman was mentally disturbed by the proceedings of divorce.
Suchana Seth, who is charged with murdering her own son, revealed that she has a troubled and chaotic relationship with her husband, in addition to their divorce proceedings being nearly finalised.
