POCO has just already launched their M6 Pro 5G which is the company’s latest affordable 5G smartphone in India as promised. The poco m6 pro features a 6.79-inch of FHD 90Hz punch-hole LCD which is powered by a Snapdragon of 4 Gen 2 SoC. The Poco M6 Pro 5G smartphone was just already launched in India on Saturday. This mobile has dual rear cameras and is powered by Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC. It is powered by a  Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC and contains the features of a 6.79-inch FHD display with a 90Hz fast refresh rate. The phone also has a dual camera setup on the back that consists of a 50-megapixel AI sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The smartphone will go on sale in India starting August 9 at noon IST. This phone is backed by a 5000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. It runs with MIUI 14 which is based on Android 13.

Design

The POCO M6 Pro 5G features a sleek, modern design that will grab attention. The phone will be available in two colours, Forest Green and Power Black. Forest Green is a deep, rich green that will draw attention. The Power Black colour is a more understated option, perfect for those looking for a more classic look. The front of the phone is a 6.7-inch IPS LCD. The display has a hole for the selfie camera and comes with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and the display is also protected by Gorilla Glass for added durability. If we go to the back of the phone it has a rectangular camera that is a dual camera system. The camera system consists of a 50-megapixel main sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The camera island also has the POCO logo.  The sides of the phone are plastic and the top and bottom come of metal. The power and volume buttons are on the right-hand side of the phone. The SIM card tray is on the left side of the phone. Let’s come to the bottom of the phone, the phone has a USB Type-C port, a speaker grill and a microphone. The phone also has consists a 3.5mm headphone jack, which is rare these days.

So The Poco M6 Pro 5G comes with the features of a 6.79-inch FHD (2460 x 1080 pixels) LCD comes with a 90Hz refresh rate and also a 240Hz touch sampling rate. The screen is also protected by the Gorilla Glass 3 and has a screen-to-body ratio of 91%. The phone screen is bright and clear with some good viewing angles. The beat is the Colors are vibrant and the text is sharp. With a 90 Hz refresh rate, it makes movement and animations smooth and fluid. The phone contains a 240 Hz touch sampling rate which makes the phone sensitive to touch input. As we know that the Poco M6 Pro 5G is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor which is a new mid-range chip which was announced in 2023. Camera performance

The Poco M6 Pro 5G  comes with a dual camera setup on the back, consisting of a 50 MP main sensor and a 2 MP depth sensor. The main sensor is a Samsung ISOCELL S5KJN1,  a 1/2.76-inch sensor with a pixel size of 0.64 μm. Equipped with a wide-angle lens with f / 1.8 aperture, it supports PDAF. The depth sensor is a 2MP sensor with  f/2.4 aperture.  Poco M6 Pro 5G’s main camera can take good pictures in different lighting conditions. Photos are sharp and detailed in good lighting conditions. The colours are accurate and the dynamic range is good. Photos are usable in low light but with more noise and grain. The  Poco M6 Pro 5G’s depth sensor is used to create the bokeh effect in portrait mode. Measure the distance between the subject and the background and blur the background accordingly. The depth sensor works well and the bokeh effect looks natural. The front camera of the Poco M6 Pro 5G can also take good pictures. Photos are sharp and detailed in good lighting conditions. The colours are accurate and the dynamic range is good. Photos can be used in poor lighting conditions, but are noisier.

Price

As of 7 August 2023, Poco M6 Pro 5G prices in India start at Rs 10,999. The POCO M6 Pro 5G comes in Forest Green and Power Black colours and is priced at Rs 10,999 for the 4GB 64GB model and Rs 12,999 for the 6GB 128GB model, which is cheaper than the Redmi 12 5G with similar specs. It will be available on Flipkart on August 9th at noon. The Poco M6 Pro 5G will be available exclusively on Flipkart in India starting August 9th at noon (IST). Poco offers two options for storage and RAM. The base version offering 4GB  RAM and 64GB storage is priced at ₹10,999, while the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant is priced at ₹10,999 and 12,999 respectively.
