It is no wonder that the ‘Tiger Bhaijaan’ of the Hindi film industry has always been in the news for some reason or the other, and now it seems that he is under the spotlight once again for something different. This time, he has been busy using the ‘F’ word for his niece Alveira Khan, whom he is about to launch in her debut Hindi movie, ‘Farrey’. The niece of the ‘Bhaijaan’ of the Hindi film industry is marking her first ever venture into the domain of the Hindi movie industry with this movie and that too under the directorial debut of the national award winner Soumendra Padhi of ‘Jamtada’ fame.
The ‘FARREY’ Fun Begins
On the morning of Monday, the 25th of September, Salman Khan took to his social media account ‘X’ (formerly known as ‘Twitter’) to express his happiness over the issue that his niece Alizeh Agnihotri would mark his first-ever venture in the domain of the Hindi film industry. He wrote on his ‘X’ (formerly known as ‘Twitter’) wall, “Subha Subha ek Naya ‘F’ word seekha. Char baje bataunga (This morning I learnt a new F word. I will tell you more about it at 4 pm.)” At 4, he made the big reveal. “Main toh yeh F word ki baat kar raha tha, aapne kya socha! #FarreyTeaser Out Now!”
The teaser of the movie which was released at 4 pm in the evening, starts with some music that immediately makes the person anxious. The glimpses of the trailer would immediately create a moment of panic in your hearts, especially, if you are a student, who is taking or will be taking exams. The teaser shows several students sitting in a row in a classroom, unable to recollect their answers, wishing to find ways to cheat and then making desperate attempts at completing their OMR sheets, then making up ‘Farrey’ (a colloquial Hindi word for chits that generally students would be preparing for themselves to pass in their exams) and then suddenly getting caught by the teachers. Alizeh Agnihotri plays the role of a student in the movie.
The official summary of the movie tells us “What is the mystery behind Farrey? It is more than just a word. It is a thrilling journey waiting to be unravelled. Dive deep into the world of Farrey and watch this gripping story unfold on November 24th in cinemas near you!”
Salman Khan’s ‘Daan’ from His ‘Khandaan’
Alizeh Agnihotri is the daughter of Alvia Agnihotri and producer Atul Agnihotri. However, she is more famous as the niece of none other than the ‘Big Boss’ of the Hindi movie industry, Salman ‘Tiger’ Khan. After the release of the teaser, Salman Khan took to his social media account of ‘X’ (formerly known as the ‘Twitter’) to congratulate her lovely niece. He wrote on the wall of his social media account, “Mamu par ek ehsaan karo, jo bhi karna dil aur mehnat se karna (Do a favour to your uncle, whatever you do, do it with heart and hard work)! Always yaad rakho (remember), Life mein go straight and turn right. Only compete with yourself.”
The comment also invited several other comments from millions and millions of fans of Salman Khan, congratulating the young girl for her developing skills in artistry and the success that would follow. “All the best Alizeh for debut,” wrote one user on his social media account of ‘X’ (formerly known as ‘Twitter’), while another user wrote, “Nice one, looks fab.” Someone mentioned the teaser to be inducing “Goosebumps,” in him, whereas someone would feel that the teaser as well as Alizeh Agnihotri, “It looks so good and so different, love the background music.”
Bringing such a narrative to the forefront, the movie not only upholds the adventures and challenges faced by the students in their school days but also how the constant pressurizing moments created by the school’s education system would leave an impact on the students’ lives. The teaser would also reveal the emotional and psychological stress that would be induced by the education system of the school as well as the moments of school-life romance that any teenager of this age would experience.
Salman Khan, commenting on his ‘daan’ to the Hindi movie industry from his ‘Khandaan’ has this piece of advice to give to his niece. He took to his social media account of ‘X’ (formerly known as ‘Twitter’) to make sure that she would establish herself as a proper name in the field and the industry that he had chosen. He wrote, “Fit hone ke chakkar mein same mat ho jaana, aur alag hone ke chakkar mein sabse alag mat ho jaana (Don’t become the same to fit among the rest and don’t get separated from everyone in the process of becoming different). And most importantly, ek baar jo tumne commitment kardi toh phir mamu ki bhi nahi sunnnaa (once you have committed then don’t even listen to uncle)!! @alizehagnihotri.” The film stars Alizeh Agnihotri, Ronit Bose Roy, Zeyn Shaw, Sahil Mehta, Prasanna Bisht and Juhi Babbar Soni.
Whatever the advice or guidance that ‘Sallu Miya’ would be providing her niece with, what we expect as audiences and fans of the ‘Tiger Khan’ of the Hindi movie industry is a reflection of the same prowess in acting in Alizeh Agnihotri that we would generally see in the artistic niceties of the ‘Radhe’ of the Hindi movie industry, Salman Khan. though several people have already started to blink the red light of ‘nepotism’, we do not think that counts as the girl would have to work hard in order to establish herself as a ‘fit’ in the world of Hindi movie industry, given the family that she is coming from. Thus, we are now waiting eagerly for the film to hit the theatres, which is possibly going to be the 24th of November this year, to seize the opportunity to watch Alizeh Agnihotri unfolding with her talents on the big screen.
