by | Jun 26, 2023 | Mobile Phone | 0 comments

As we know that  5G is everywhere in today’s generation and if you want to be one of those who want to use it even when the towers  light up and play high, the best camera phone  software and you might as well have a 5G phone now. Realme and several other companies hope to capture this early adopter market. Furthermore, it doesn’t make sense to develop 5G-capable flagships for some worlds and completely different products for others. The Realme X50 Pro 5G is not only Realme’s most expensive model  in India, but it is also the first 5G phone and the first Qualcomm Snapdragon 865-powered phone in India.

We can’t test its 5G functionality, but we can say if it’s worth the money  and if this phone offers potential future functionality at the expense of today’s usability.

What is the overall look of REALME X50 PRO 5G :

In a very short period of time, Realme has established a brand aesthetic mobile that is the X50 Pro, looks like the company’s previous models. This phone is a little bit blockier than other Realme models, but it still feels like modern. Both the front and the back are  made of Corning Gorilla Glass, and instead of a notch, the screen is interrupted by a dual camera cut-out in the upper left corner. There is also a visible chin under the screen.

For the back, Realme chose subdued monochrome colours and there are no gradients or patterns on this high-end device, although the glass seems to have  depth and the colour changes slightly as you move the phone in your hand. . You can only choose between rust red and moss green, so there is no really rational choice. Although the texture of the back glass appears frosted, it is actually quite smooth and slightly slippery.  We have Realme’s familiar vertical camera strip at the back in the upper left corner, although we are a little annoyed that the four lenses are very unevenly placed. The power button is on the right and the volume buttons  on the left, low enough to  reach. Below is a USB Type-C port, speaker and SIM tray. We should note that there is no 3.5mm audio jack, which is disappointing. The body of the phone is made of metal and the overall build quality is very good. The Realme X50 Pro 5G feels like a pretty high-end phone; at least  in the same price range as the current OnePlus offers. Unfortunately, it’s  a bit heavier than average at 205g. It was difficult to use with one hand because  the 6.4-inch 20:9 screen is tall and  the glass back is smooth.

What are the software and specifications of REALME X50 PRO 5G define them?

It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor and its companion Snapdragon X55 modem. When fully utilized on a proper 5G network, Qualcomm claims download speeds of 7.5 Gbps and upload speeds of 3 Gbps, which is nothing short of amazing. Qualcomm supports mm Wave and sub-6, which are the main 5G applications in the world today. Snapdragon 865 is the new flagship processor. It consists of four Qualcomm Kryo 585 Silver efficient cores clocked at 1.8GHz, three efficient Kryo 585 Gold cores at 2.42GHz and one more Kryo 585 Gold core  at  2.82GHz. There is also an advanced Adreno 650 integrated GPU and advanced subsystems.

Realme  used a 6.44-inch Super AMOLED HDR10 panel with a  refresh rate of 90Hz and a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels. You can set the refresh rate to 60Hz, 90Hz or Auto to balance performance and battery life, and the battery capacity is 4,200mAh, which Realme claims  can be charged from zero to 100% in just 35 minutes using the included 65W SuperDart -charger.The phone has LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.0 storage making this phone fast and responsive with NavIC support, stereo speakers, NFC, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1 with  AptX HD audio codec. This phone runs Android 10 with Realme UI 1.1 on top, which is a slightly tweaked version of Oppo’s ColorOS.

What will be the battery performance of the phone?

The Realme X50 pro 5g also managed to deliver an impressive battery life. 4,200 mAh might not sound like much these days, but the Realme X50 Pro can handle it well for  a  day. Our HD video loop test lasted 19 hours and 4 minutes.

Super fast charging is one of the USPs of this phone. The included 65W charger is large and heavy, and you’ll need to carry it  with you if it’s going to be useful. We were able to go from completely dead to 25% in about 7 minutes, 50% in just over 14 minutes, and 75% in 22 minutes, after which the loading speed started to slow down. Full charging  took exactly 41 minutes and 16 seconds, longer than Realme’s claimed 35 minutes, but still exceptional.

How are the cameras of Realme X50 Pro 5G?

The Realme X50 Pro has four rear cameras,  First  is the 64-megapixel main camera, based on the Samsung GW1 sensor, with  f/1.8 aperture. There is also an 8-megapixel f/2.3 wide-angle camera, which is quite common even on cheaper phones these days, but in this case functions as a macro camera. The biggest surprise here is the 12-megapixel telephoto camera, which offers 2X optical zoom but has an f/2.5 aperture. Finally, there’s a 2-megapixel monochrome depth camera. On the front of the phone, we have a 32-megapixel main camera and an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera. There’s a Night Mode 3.0 with a tripod setting that lets you shoot for up to 50 seconds while the phone is stationary. Video stabilization is implemented on both front cameras, and there is also a continuous portrait mode for video, which offers depth effects and 120fps slow-motion recording. In the camera app the dots above the shutter  to quickly switch between  wide-angle camera, standard camera and optical zoom, and  another dot is for 5x hybrid zoom and go further with the 20x digital zoom, The TV camera is also useful, and the photos taken at 2x resolution were  of high quality. Record videos in up to 4K resolution. Stabilzation isn’t great, though, Colors were  oversaturated in 4K both day and  night, making the video look artificial and unpleasant. The tone was much more neutral and natural in 1080p.
