Design

The overall look is smooth front and back, unlike the curved look of the Pro models in this series. What hasn’t changed is the beauty of the rear panel. The Narzo 60 Pro reflects everything from the vegan leather material to the large round camera body. The labels below are in a new font and I think they look quite trendy. The body is shiny plastic with light gold accents that go well with the bright sea sand version you get. The phone measures around 8mm thick and weighs 182g, which is nothing out of the ordinary. The USB Type-C port, speaker grill and 3.5mm headphone jack are all on the bottom. The Narzo 60 5G has a flat front and back design that sets it apart from the curved Pro models. However, like the Narzo 60 Pro, it retains the familiar vegan leather back and large round camera body. The frame is made of glossy plastic, with bright gold details complementing the eye-catching Martian orange variant. The phone is full size, about 8mm thick and weighs 182g. Below that is a USB Type-C port, a speaker grill, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Display

As for the viewing experience, the Narzo 60 features an AMOLED panel with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, a 90Hz refresh rate and an FHD resolution. The bezels around the screen are a little thick for my liking, but the overall visual quality is good. Performance

Powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 6020 SoC, the Realme Narzo 60 runs quietly under a sleek look. While the device’s main selling point isn’t its performance, it does pleasantly surprise how easily it handles everyday tasks. Benchmark numbers may not accurately reflect the Narzo 60’s real-world capabilities, but regular social media browsing, WhatsApp messaging, and YouTube streaming workflows are handled just fine. With up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of internal storage, the Narzo 60 offers plenty of space, reserving up to 8GB for RAM through a virtual swap, for a total of 16 GB. In summary, the Narzo 60 doesn’t outperform its competitors, but its speed leaves no doubt about its performance. Inside the Narzo 60 5G is a MediaTek Dimensity 6020 chipset that ensures smooth performance in your daily work. With 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, users will have plenty of space to store all their content and data.

Software

Works with Realme UI 4.0 based on Android 13. It has the June 2023 Android security patch applied. Your phone will receive 2 Android updates and 3 years of security updates. With 12 GB of his LPDD4X RAM, you get 11.29 GB of usable RAM and about 7 GB of free RAM when default apps are running in the background. Narzo 60 Pro, like Realme 11 Pro and 11 Pro, supports n1/n3/n5/n8/n28A/n40/n41/n77/n78 network frequencies in India and supports carrier aggregation on 4G. Other connectivity features include Wi-Fi 6 802.11 ax (2.4GHz 5GHz), VoWiFi/Wi-Fi calling support, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou. The Realme Narzo 60 Pro has a body SAR of 0.532 W/kg and a head SAR of 1.146/kg, well below the Indian limit of 1.6 W/kg (over 1g).

Camera

The primary sensor of the device is a 64-megapixel photo sensor and a secondary  2-megapixel portrait lens. I wanted an ultra-wide sensor to make the shooting more practical. However, the main camera does a good job of capturing details, and I prefer a more vibrant colour output. When you take close-up photos, it automatically blurs the background and sharpens the subject. As for the exposure, the image is further refined after post-processing. I also like the reliability of the manual slider. Needless to say, the captured images are captured at 16MP pixel size and as usual, there is also the option to capture full-resolution images at 64MP. Another advantage is that the phone lets you capture lossless 2x zoom shots of him with one tap, cropping it to the resolution of the main sensor. Other than that, there are no other notable sensors. The 2MP portrait lens is great for bokeh shots, but I’ve seen computer tricks for it that give the same or better results. Considering the weak performance, which was mainly due to the poor focus of the sensor in night conditions, I felt that I wanted something more. Even after several taps and viewfinder adjustments, the final image was generally soft. This also applies when you use the special night mode. With only an AEF lock, the desired result is more or less acceptable, which I think is a bit difficult. Selfies are good, but sometimes too much light shines behind the face. Overall,  daytime photos with this device are worth a second look, but low-light shots need some work.

Battery

As for battery life, the phone has a built-in 5000mAh (typical)  battery, just like the Narzo 50 Pro. WiFi works all day, but you need 4G or 5G and dual SIM. With WiFi and 120Hz, you can get almost 6 hours of screen time per day. In terms of battery offerings, the Narzo 60 features standard 5,000mAh cells and supports 33W fast charging. A typical day of use consumes about 60-70% of the battery, making the handset an easy device to use in a day. The Narzo 60, on the other hand, lasts significantly longer than others in the same price range. A full charge from 0% may take more than 2.5 hours. Compared to Narzo 50 Pro’s 33W SuperVOOC charging, Narzo 60 Pro’s SuperVOOC charging is 67W. With the included 80W charger, you can charge up to 50% in about 18 minutes and up to 100% in 47 minutes. Battery selection status is not displayed.
