The phone has a1.4-inch sensor which captures the picture instantly but the picture become blurred when the background is covered with sunray or other lights. The main camera performance is quite good in night mode as it can hide the shadows quite well. The ultra large photo becomes blur and the front camera is not impressive. The selfie comes always with slight pink color and less smooth than other pictures. The Redmi Note 12 Pro rear camera can record 4K videos at 30fps and the front camera records 1080p 60fps.
