One such actor is Shah Rukh Khan, who has not just been able to win over the hearts of their fans throughout the country but also all over the world. Recently, in an interview with a news portal, another talented young actor from the Hindi movie industry, Rajkumar Rao, opened up about how he feels about Shah Rukh Khan. it is no wonder that like several other actors from the Hindi movie industry, Rajkumar Rao too was all praises for Shah Rukh Khan and even went to the extent of describing him as the most ‘Jawan’ or youthful actor of the Hindi movie industry, who has defined the shape of the Hindi movies in the 90s.

Shah Rukh Khan Remains Ever Young

Rajkumar Rao has recently finished filming for Raj Nidimoru and Krishna Dasarkothapalli’s upcoming Netflix series ‘Guns and Gulaabs and was in an interview session for the promotion of the movie. The film is set in the backdrop of the 90s. In one session, he was asked by the interviewer, who was his favourite actor from the Hindi movie industry, whom he would like to credit the shaping the 90s era of movies. Rao, who has also displayed his immense fascination for Shah Rukh Khan, did not even think for a second before coming out with Shah Rukh Khan as the answer. He told the interviewer that it was only the ‘Baazigar’ of Bollywood, who, according to him, has played an important role in defining the 90s era of the Hindi movie industry.  “There is one and only Shah Rukh Khan. He is the most jawan actor of our times.” Shah Rukh Khan’s next film which has been titled ‘Jawan’ has been scheduled to hit the movie theatres the next month. It has already garnered a lot of appreciation from his fans all over the country because of its stunning visuals, cinematography and dance sequences.

This is no wonder that somebody like Rajkumar Rao has been praising Shah Rukh Khan and credits his choosing this field as his career as the ‘King Khan of Bollywood’ as the legacy that Shah Rukh Khan has created or has been creating stands beyond time. Barring a few of his films, most of the films of this versatile actor have topped the charts of the highest-grossing films in the Hindi movie industry. After the legendary Amitabh Bachchan, it was Shah Rukh Khan, who has been able to present the Hindi movie industry on a global platform and garner a massive fan base not just in India but in every part of the world. From acting to production (Shah Rukh Khan and his wife Gauri Chibber Khan jointly own a production house that is called Red Chillies Entertainment) to several philanthropic activities, Shah Rukh Khan has always left a mark in every aspect of his life.

The Unbeatable Legacy of the ‘Baazigar’

While Shah Rukh Khan is still entertaining his fans with his acting prowess and skills even in this next phase of his career, his choice of the characters that he is portraying and the way he reinvents and reshapes himself to deliver his best performance to the audience is widely applauded and praised among his several fans. So it feels that Rajkumar Rao has quite aptly stated that his unwavering dedication towards his art and his capabilities to strike up a connection with his moviegoers and audience make him one of the most charming actors in the Hindi movie industry.

Even at the age of 58 years, he is equally charming and energetic as he was in the 90s. therefore, it is not wrong to perceive him as the most ‘Jawan’ or youthful actor of Bollywood and at the same time is also a slight covert reference to his upcoming movie ‘Jawan’ that is set to hit the movie theatres the next month. Thus, we all wish him good health and a prospective career in the future and wish that he remains equally charming and youthful as long as he can.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Rajkumar Rao would be seen in a crime thriller that is called ‘Guns and Gulaabs’ being directed by the director duo Raj Nidimoru and Krishna Dasarakothapalli. The film is set in the backdrop of the 90s and is a crime thriller that revolves around a distraught lover ‘Paana Tipu’, who is on a killing spree with his ‘paana’ or spanner.  The role has been perfectly essayed by Rajkumar Rao, who, according to the audience, has been able to break free from the boy next door image in, which he is seen mostly in several of his movies.

In an attempt to highlight the nostalgic experience of the 90s, Raj and DK say that “Life is too easy now and quick. In the 90s, there was a lot more effort… you had to work hard at everything and so the results were also sweeter in every single aspect of life. I think it’s in our nature to look back at the time we were in. Nostalgia is a part of us and there is always a charm. As soon as you think about the past, there’s a charm to it. It brings a smile to your face.” This statement by the director duo kicked up nostalgic movie memories in Rajkumar Rao that led him to express these opinions about his all-time favourite Shah Rukh Khan. The upcoming movie would also star other actors such as Dulquer Salman, Gulshan Devaiah and Adarsh Gaurav. The trailer of the movie has already been launched and the series is set to hit Netflix on August 10th of this year.
