“Pushpa Sunke Flower Samjha Kya? Flower Nahi, Fire Hoon Main”, is the dialogue that once had the entire country go crazy over it. The first part of the movie ‘Pushpa: The Rise ‘  saw the actor Allu Arjun winning the National Award for the best actor in a movie from a regional industry (Telugu language film industry). This time the film is going to be making a grand entry to the theaters on the 15th of August in the next year. However, this time the film is not in the spotlight just for the craze that is associated with its release but also for the box office clash that it would be presenting the Indian audience with. It has been revealed by sources, who are closely associated with the movie that the movie is going to be clashing for box office popularity with another high budget as well as well well-received Hindi movie of ‘Singham Again’ by Ajay Devgn directed by Rohit Shetty.

‘Puspha’s Fire or ‘Singham’s Roar?

On Monday evening, the makers of the film took to their social media account of ‘X’ (formerly known as ‘Twitter) to announce the return of the sequel to the most anticipated and highly awaited movie of the year, ‘Pushpa 2’. The mere announcement sort of sent the fans into a ‘Pushpa’ frenzy immediately with people scrolling through various news websites as well as social media accounts of the makers of the movie to know the exact date of the release. After being perturbed by fans for a long, the makers finally had to give in to their demands of letting the date known to them by announcing the film would be released on the 15th of August in the next year.

With such great news in the making, fans of Allu ‘Pushpa Raj’ Arjun are waiting impatiently with bated breath for the megastar to come alive on the screen once again in his charismatic persona of ‘Pushpa Raj, the Fire’. Fans throughout the southern part of India as well as in other parts of the country have started grooving to the music of ‘Srivalli’ as well as ‘Saami Saami’, as a mark of their inordinate ecstasy on the arrival of such pleasing information.

Yet once again, the makers of the movie announced on their official social media account of ‘X’ (formerly known as ‘Twitter’) that they are already done with the shooting of the entire film with just the scene of the climax left to be shot yet. A poster was released from the side of the makers of the film on the 11th of September on Monday, revealing the ‘Fire’ of the Telugu industry in a different look. As per reliable sources of information, the film would see the entry of Allu Arjun in the disguise of a local goddess in the climax sequence of the movie. The film would see Allu Arjun taking down villains in a saree armed with a gun at the terminal point of the film, when the character played by Rashmika Mandanna would reveal some secret to him. Recently, Allu Arjun took to his social media account of ‘Instagram’ to share a glimpse of the shooting of the movie with his large base of fans.  “Before heading to set, actor @alluarjunonline (Allu Arjun) needs a chillllll morning. Understandably. ‘Fans in India are different from the rest of the world. You have to see it. I can’t explain.’ Enter Ramoji Film City, located in Hyderabad, India. It’s one of the world’s largest film studio complexes and home to Pushpa 2: The Rule, Allu Arjun’s latest action-packed sequel. The studio also serves as a regular hangout for fans eager to meet their hero before shooting. ‘They play a huge part in my motivation,’ says Allu Arjun. ‘It’s their love that makes me push my boundaries, and I want to make them really proud — like, more proud and more proud,” wrote the ‘Pushpa Raj’ of the Telugu movie industry on his ‘Instagram’ wall.

The film will be directed by Sukumar and boasts of a sterling cast of Rashmika Mandana and Fahadh Faasil reprising their roles with some special appearance to be made by a young talent of southern industry, Sai Pallavi.

On the Hindi front, the director Rohit Shetty decided to present the Indian crowd with another addition to his ‘Singham’ franchise. He is on his way to make an entry this time with his ‘Singham Again’, with Ajay Devgn to fire in his role the daring and dashing cop called ‘Singham’. “There is still some time before taking Singham Again on floors. We are still finishing the Indian Police Force. Once that’s done, we move into Singham Again. There’s still two to three months to start the film,” said the director in an interview with an online portal of news. “I am excited about making Singham. I am excited because you will see a different Singham in the film this time. It’s huge, the script has turned out well. It’s unique and it is the most loved character that I know. I am excited that Ajay and I are coming back together on Singham Again,” added the director and at the same time informed that the film would be released on a pan-India basis for the fans on the 15th of August next year.

This has started speculations as to which film is going to have the last smile in being able to rule over the big screens and the minds of the audiences, given the immense popularity that both films enjoy on a pan-India basis. With fans counting the dates for the release, it is time to see, whether the fire of ‘Pushpa’ wins against the mighty roar of the ‘Singham’. Till then, we count the days and wait with bated breath.
