As we know, 5G is everywhere in today’s generation, and if you want to be one of those who want to use it even when the towers are lit and  high, the best camera phone software and you might as well have a 5G phone now then the phone of OnePlus Nord 3 is finally here! It’s been over two years since the Nord 2 hit the shelves, and it looks like the wait was worth it. The third Nord brings the flagship Fluid AMOLED display with the most advanced chip with the Dimensity of 9000 5G  smartphone and it improved the main camera with the most advanced Sony IMX890 sensor. OK, we’re not going to pretend the Nord 2T doesn’t exist, but it was such a minor upgrade that offered faster 80W Super VOOC charging and, well, not much else. Fortunately, this charging solution  made it to the Nord 3. You can say it’s worth the money, and this phone also offers potential future functionality at the expense of today’s ease of use.

What is the overall look of Oneplus Nord 3 5G ?

So Let’s start from the beginning the OnePlus Nord 3 may retain the dual glass design and the dual ring camera setup, but it has been tweaked a bit. There’s no protruding rectangular camera body, which makes for a cleaner design, and the phone is now officially IP54 resistant to dust and splashes. Fluid AMOLED is now bigger, faster and more colorful – it’s a 6.74-inch panel with a dynamic 120Hz refresh rate, 10-bit color depth, up to 1000Hz touch sensitivity and HDR10 support with Netflix and Prime support. Moving on to the chip set, it’s the flagship Dimensity 9000 5G, a huge upgrade over  the previous generation Dimensity 1200/1300, with a top-of-the-line processor and graphics worthy of a flagship killer. Yes, we couldn’t help but mention the iconic words. The triple camera setup on the back initially looks  the same as the Nord 2  – a 50-megapixel OIS primary, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. But the main camera now relies on an advanced Sony IMX890 sensor, which should improve the quality of photos and videos. The OnePlus Nord 3 also has stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support, a large 5,000mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC charging, and  Android 13 with the latest OxygenOS 13.1 launcher.

What are the software and specifications of Oneplus Nord 3 5G?

The OnePlus Nord 3 runs Android 13 with the latest OxygenOS UI v.13.1, which is mostly identical to  Realme’s UI 4.0 and Oppo’s ColorOS (the basis of all BBK launchers). Don’t expect to see  Android 13 as usual. However, the custom UI version implemented battery optimization, media controls, color customization and privacy updates, among other improvements. OnePlus promises three generations of OS updates and four years of security updates for the Nord 3. And when it comes to the sidebar, it’s pretty familiar—a small visible icon at the edge of the screen that expands into a menu when swiping. You can customize the functions of this menu and the application shortcuts displayed there.  OnePlus Nord 3 also supports  RAM expansion feature. As  the name suggests, this feature allows you to expand your smartphone’s RAM – albeit almost –  using the smartphone’s internal memory. You can add 4 GB to 12 GB of virtual RAM. This feature is enabled by default and OnePlus has set 4GB as the default. The interface is uncluttered and easy to use, and running at 120fps, it feels great. However, it retains many powerful tools if you decide to dig in and use them.

The OnePlus Nord 3 uses the flagship Dimensity 9000 4nm chip set, just like the OnePlus Find N2 Flip. The processor configuration includes one ARM Cortex-X2 core  up to 3.05GHz, three Cortex-A710s up to 2.85GHz and four Cortex-A510 cores  up to 1.8GHz. They are paired with a 10-core Mali-G710 MC10 GPU clocked at 850 MHz.  The Nord 3 also has 128GB or 256GB of UFS3.1 storage and  8GB or 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM.Oneplus Nord 3 5G has an aspect ratio of 162.0 x 75.1 x 8.15mm, 194g of glass on the  front which is Dragontrail glass and Gorilla Glass 5 on the back. The plastic case of the phone is  dust and water resistant IP54. . If we look at the screen, it is a 6.74 Fluid AMOLED screen with 120Hz, HDR10 and a screen resolution of 1240 x 2772 pixels with an aspect ratio of 20:9, 390ppi with a Mediatek MT6983 Dimensity 9000 chipset, which is 4nm. Speaking of the camera, Wide one main is 50 MP, f/1.8, 24mm, 1/1.56″ and ultra wide angle: 8 MP, f/2.2, 120˚ and  macro is 2 MP, f /2.4 and  front camera 16 MP, f/2.0, (wide).Video capture with rear camera that is 4K@60fps, 1080p@30/60/120fps, Gyro-EIS and  front camera  1080p@30fps, Gyro-EIS. This phone has a 5G connectivity feature; Two SIM cards with Wi-Fi connection 6; BT 5.3, aptX HD and NFC One thing you can’t see at first is the Quad-Bayer 16 MP selfie camera. This type of selfie camera, at least at this resolution, should be limited to mobile phones, not mid-range or even worse, high-end mid-range phones. OxygenOS 13 looks quite more modern and  has a familiar theme that is also available on Oppo and Realme phones. Android 13 multimedia controls and smoother animations are included, and improved notification and control centers are also coming to OxygenOS 13. The Nord 3 supports fingerprint unlocking and the optical under-screen scanner works well – it’s fast. How are the cameras of Oneplus Nord 3 5G?

On the back of the OnePlus Nord 3 is a familiar triple setup  with a high-resolution 50-megapixel OIS primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. On paper, they look the same as the  Nord 2 cameras, but the main sensor has been swapped for the flagship Sony IMX890.  The main camera of the Nord 3 now has a 50MP Sony IMX890 1/1.56″ with 1.0µm pixels and all pixels with multi-directional autofocus (or Octa-PD AF). It is paired with a stabilized (OIS) 24mm f/1.8 lens.

The ultra-wide camera is based on an 8-megapixel Sony IMX 355 sensor behind a 16mm f/2.2 lens. No autofocus. The macro camera has a 2-megapixel GalaxyCore GC02M1 sensor.

Finally, the selfie camera is a bit disappointing – it’s identical to what we’ve seen on the previous couple of  Realme phones – it uses a 16MP Sony IMX 471 1/3-inch Quad-Bayer sensor with 1.0µm pixels. and a 24mm f/2.4 lens. .Focus is set. The  main camera captures 12.5MP images pretty much as expected, and they’re pretty good, if not perfect, and there’s a high-res 50MP option, but it captures scaled-down versions of the default 12.5MP photos and we can’t. see any real use for it. The 8-megapixel photos from the ultra-wide camera are very good – there are enough good details, low noise, high contrast  and sufficient dynamic range. The OnePlus Nord 3 uses a 16-megapixel selfie camera with a Quad-Bayer color filter, which means it should capture 4-megapixels by default. The Nord 3 records video with all but the macro cameras. The main camera records video up to 4K at 60fps and  1080p at both 30fps and 60fps. Ultrawide and selfies are limited to 1080p@30fps video capture. The 4K footage from the main camera is impressive with exceptionally high detail, sharpness, realistic colors, high contrast and good dynamic range.

What will be the battery performance of the phone and how will be the speaker of it?

The battery capacity of OnePlus Nord 3  has  increased from 5000 mAh in Nord 2 compared to 5000 mAh. We think the bigger screen and slightly bigger body also allows for  extra battery. The OnePlus Nord 3 had a durability of 103 hours (compared to the Nord 2’s 102 hours) and performed admirably in all three main tests – calls, web browsing and loop gaming. Nord 3 supports 80W SuperVOOC charging, just like Nord 2T and Nord 2 65W charging. Of course, the Nord 3 comes with an 80W power supply and a proper 10A red cable.  OnePlus has shared the official charging numbers – 15 minutes should give us 60% of the charger, with a full charge  in 32 minutes.  Well, 5 minutes with the charger replenished 26% of the exhausted battery, while  15 minutes in total – 61%. A full charge takes exactly 32 minutes, which fulfils OnePlus’ official  promise. We are glad that our test matched the official data. Please note that after reaching 100% status, the phone will take another 10 minutes  to show Fully Charged, which is typical for BBK manufactured phones.

The OnePlus Nord 3 has two stereo speakers like the Nord 2. It is a hybrid device where the top speaker has both front and top grills, while the bottom has only one grill and sounds louder. The sound from the speakers is balanced and offers similar sound quality, although the bottom end is  louder.  The Nord 3T scored very well in our volume test. The sound quality is also very good with excellent vocals and treble and even some bass. The sound is full and pleasantly deep.

Now what are the pros and cons of Oneplus Nord 3 5G

At first Pros:

• This phone comes with the IP54 rated with dual-glass of design and beautiful colours.
• It has the outstanding display of high resolution with brightness and refresh rate and also HDR10 support.
• The most excellent is the battery life and it is plenty fast charging.
• The speaker of this phone is very Loud and balanced which is a Dolby Atmos speakers.
• This is the Flagship-grade performance phone.
• Very good Reliable photo and video quality from all cameras but macro is quite little poor.
• This phone is a Fluid OxygenOS android phone.

Then the Cons:

• There will be no EIS in 4K resolution in this oneplus nord phone.
• If we talk about the camera then the selfie camera is full basic but the macro shots are very much poor in this range.
• The worst thing is there will be no high frame rate for the  gaming because GPU could be prone to throttling for this phone.

Price demand and Customer Review of the phone

The OnePlus Nord 3 is easy to like, with an impressive high-resolution display with even more impressive slim bezels and a notch. The flagship hardware is a real treat at this price, as is the flagship battery life and charging. We can’t help but appreciate the IP54 rated housing, which is a thoughtful move that provides added peace of mind.  The camera has  improved since the Nord 2,  no doubt about it. The selfie camera is a bit disappointing and the macro camera turned out to be quite poor. But the lack of electronic stabilization in 4K videos is a real crime. That and a Quad-Bayer selfie sensor. And since the OnePlus Nord 3 is a BBK-made phone, it doesn’t offer high-framerate gaming.  Even with these flaws, the Nord 3 manages to impress us with everything else – display, performance, speakers, charging speed and battery life, overall camera quality, smooth OxygenOS. It also comes at a competitive price,  and we recommend adding the Nord 3 to your list of favorites, somewhere near the best options.

The overall customer rating is 4.7 out of 5  which is quite impressive and  this phone is priced at Rs 33,999 which is the online price  of this mobile phone.
