Amit Malviya, the head of the BJP’s IT cell, claimed on Thursday that Vineet Kumar Goyal, the commissioner of police in Kolkata, had eliminated essential proof from the crime scene at the RG Kar Hospital. Malviya stated on X (formerly known as Twitter) that Goyal, who currently serves as the Commissioner of Kolkata Police, was the Inspector General of CID and the investigating officer in the widely publicized rape and murder case in Kamduni, which he completely botched.

5 OFFICIAL ARRESTED BY CBI

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) questioned five staff members of RG Kar Medical College and Hospital on Thursday with respect to the rape and murder of a junior doctor.The people who were questioned by the central agency are compared to different parts of the hospital. The victim’s close relatives were likewise reached by the CBI team, and their statements were documented.

While the crime ended up being evident, the agency contacted Abhijit Mondal, the officer in charge of Tala Police Station, where a case of unnatural death had previously been presented. Mondal provided the central agency with a copy of certain case-related documents. It was recently discovered that four PGT students coming from the medical college also recorded their statements.

12 PEOPLE ARRESTED FOR LATE NIGHT VIOLENCE

Twelve people were detained by police on Thursday after the late-night vandalism at Kolkata’s RG Kar Medical College and Hospital. Several members of the mob continue to be sought after.
Hundreds of miscreants were turning up late on Wednesday night, triggering an insurrection at the venue, where doctors had gathered to protest the rape and murder of a junior doctor at the institute.

Three suo-motu cases were recently submitted by police at different police departments with regard to the violence that took place that night. Once ten of the twelve individuals who were initially imprisoned showed up in court, the court gave the police a week’s custody. Officers update that five more individuals have been put into jail, and searches are taking place in search of more suspects.

DOCTORS WERE ATTACKED BY PROTESTERS

Several medical professionals stated that police discarded the protesters to fend for themselves when the miscreants seemed.

They asserted that shortly after operating the protesters away, the miscreants assaulted them, violated the emergency building, and utilized hammers and sticks to take over the ground floor’s rooms.

“We encountered an attack at midnight. We didn’t move as fast as the police. The criminals demolished the premises and beat some of us. A doctor who was unwilling to be identified conveyed his displeasure by declaring, It was undoubtedly meant to intimidate us.”

Due to being outnumbered, as reported by witnesses, the police escaped the protesters and escaped to safety.

A female doctor stated they closed themselves in a room and waited in silence till the chaos went away.
