In India, the starting model of the Motorola Edge 30 comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It comes with a price tag of Rs. 27,999. Moreover, those using HDFC Bank credit cards or opting for EMI transactions can enjoy a rebate of Rs. 2,000.

Design of the iQOO Z6 Pro

iQOO has decided to utilize a droplet-shaped indentation screen on this particular device, which is rather underwhelming when considering the price of the phone. The rear of the smartphone lacks any glass material and instead, iQOO has opted for polycarbonate plastic for the back panel and a plastic frame for the phone itself. On a positive note, iQOO has included an in-display fingerprint sensor due to the phone’s AMOLED display, allowing users to conveniently unlock the smartphone using their fingerprints. However, it is essential to mention that iQOO has not provided an official IP rating for the smartphone, so it is advisable to refrain from immersing it in water. The absence of a 3.5 mm headphone jack on the phone signifies the inability to instantly connect wired earphones. Moreover, the smartphone lacks a dedicated slot for a microSD card to expand its storage capacity. It solely supports a maximum of two SIM cards.

Design of Moto Edge 30

The Motorola Edge 30 possesses an elegant visage that is certain to attract attention no matter your whereabouts. This device boasts a slender girth of approximately 6.79 millimetres, and its design is crafted in a manner that imparts a sensation akin to holding mere ether in your grasp. Additionally, the Motorola Edge 30’s back features a timeless matte finish made from a durable material that can withstand any potential drops or impacts.  These attributes possess the potential to captivate your senses through the screen. The phone’s exquisite aesthetics provide a truly unique user experience, enhanced by subtle motifs that shift and transform as the device is tilted from one side to another.

Display of iQOO Z6 Pro

One of the improvements from the previous version can be found in the display section where the Z6 Pro now features an AMOLED panel in the front compared to the LCD on the earlier model. On the other hand, the refresh rate has been lowered to 90Hz from 120Hz, although only keen smartphone enthusiasts can truly discern a noticeable difference between the two. Similar to a few other OLED-equipped phones in the same price range, the iQOO Z6 Pro complies with HDR10+, but some streaming platforms like Netflix and Prime do not support it. Nevertheless, the device offers exceptional colour accuracy, wide viewing angles, and contrast ratios that are difficult to find on a comparable LCD screen. With a peak brightness of 1300 units, the screen provides sufficient luminosity for viewing even in intense sunlight, such as the current conditions in northern parts of India. Additionally, a waterdrop notch can be observed on the screen, giving it a somewhat outdated appearance in the era of punch-hole displays.

Display of Motorola Edge 30

Motorola has opted for a pOLED display on the front, boasting a size of 6.55 inches and FHD+ resolution. What caught my attention is the impressive 144Hz screen refresh rate, which is the highest on a mid-range smartphone. As a result, the Edge 30 delivers a remarkably smooth and seamless browsing and navigation experience, particularly in apps that support high refresh rates. Furthermore, the 10-bit panel offers exceptional colour accuracy, outstanding contrast ratios, and impressive brightness levels. Although the display is HDR10+ compliant, streaming platforms like Netflix and Amazon Prime cannot deliver HDR content on this device. Nonetheless, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time with the Edge 30 while indulging in YouTube’s vast array of videos. Additionally, Motorola has included some practical features like the Attentive display, which keeps the screen active when you’re looking at it, and the Peek display, which conveniently provides lock screen notifications with a single tap.

Performance iQOO Z6 Pro

The iQOO Z6 Pro runs on a potent Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G octa-core processor and an Adreno 642L graphics processor. It has the ability to support LPDDR4x memory of up to 12GB and UFS 2.2 storage of up to 256GB. This smartphone is equipped with the FuntouchOS 12 interface, which is based on Android 12, bringing forth an exceptional experience. Additionally, the smartphone offers Virtual RAM or Extended RAM 2.0. Nevertheless, the Extended RAM feature is merely a marketing tactic and holds no practical advantages, so it can be disregarded. Furthermore, the device comes with a plethora of pre-installed applications that can be uninstalled, although it still carries unnecessary software. Overall, the Snapdragon 778G is a powerful CPU that can effortlessly tackle any task. To sum up, this phone delivers excellent performance, guaranteeing a hassle-free user experience.

 Camera of iQOO Z6 Pro

The rectangular module of the iQOO Z6 Pro 5G boasts a triple rear camera setup accompanied by an LED flash. It incorporates a 64MP primary sensor with an aperture of f/1.8, an 8MP wide-angle sensor with an aperture of f/2.2, and a 2MP macro sensor with an aperture of f/2.4. Within the waterdrop-style notch display lies a 16MP lens for capturing selfies, featuring an aperture of f/2.0. While the rear camera is capable of recording 4k videos at a frame rate of 30 frames per second, the front camera can shoot 1080p videos at the same frame rate. Due to the absence of Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), the device relies on Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) instead. On the whole, the rear cameras of the device deliver excellent results, justifying its price point. However, there is room for improvement in terms of the front camera. Considering its budget-friendly nature, the videos captured by the rear camera are quite satisfactory, showcasing abundant details and an extensive dynamic range. That being said, the quality of 4k videos is not particularly impressive, so it is advisable to avoid utilizing them.

Battery of the iQOO Z6 Pro

The iQOO Z6 Pro 5G arrives with a 4,700 milliamp-hour battery that facilitates 66W rapid charging. Furthermore, iQOO incorporates a 66-watt charger in the bundle. The gadget’s battery duration is restricted in contrast to the offerings of other firms, yet it is satisfactory and not remarkable. Overall, the battery will endure throughout the day, although this may fluctuate based on your use of the mobile device in your day-to-day activities.

Battery of the Motorola Moto Edge G30

The Motorola Moto Edge 30 boasts excellent attributes in all aspects, yet it is let down by its battery capacity. While other devices in the same price range offer high-capacity batteries, the Moto Edge 30 is equipped with a mere 4020 mAh battery. To compensate for this drawback, the device provides 33W TurboPower charging, a commendable effort to address the limitations of its low-capacity battery. Additionally, it offers a Type-C charging port for convenient charging.
