In recent times, she has been spotted on numerous occasions with her so-called rumoured boyfriend Shikhar Pahariya.

Recently, she was caught by the Paparazzi cameras with her rumoured boyfriend Shikhar Pahariya on the premises of the Tirupati Venkateshwara Temple in the Tirupati district of the state of Andhra Pradesh. This has speculated much buzz about, whether the young heartthrob has finally found her ‘Sapno Ka Rajkumar’.

Nostalgic Emotion Connected to Devotion

On the 27^th of August on Sunday this year, the ‘Bawaal’ girl was seen visiting the premises of the temple with her rumoured boyfriend Shikhar Pahariya to offer her prayers to the Lord Venkateshwara, amidst tightened security. She was caught in the cameras by the paparazzi cameramen while she and Shikhar Pahariya were leaving the premises of the temple after their prayers. While she was sporting a lilac-coloured half sari, her boyfriend was seen in white traditional South Indian attire, a white veshti and a white angavastram. This frequent pilgrimage holds emotional significance in the life of the actress as her late mother, the legendary actress Sri Devi would also frequent the temple. Possibly, she is also trying to follow in the footsteps of her mother by offering prayers and experiencing their shared traditions.

Janhvi Kapoor’s visited the place with her boyfriend Shikhar Pahariya to honour the legacy of her late mother, actress Sri Devi. Sri Devi was known for her inclinations towards prayers and rituals. It has been reported that the actor would often pay a visit to the temple of her late mother. Last year, she visited the temple to celebrate her birthday and even visited the temple a few months ago with her father, the producer Boney Kapoor. Through the emulation of the actions of her mother, the ‘Dhadak’ girl has displayed her rooted connections with the traditions of her family and upholds the importance of family values in her personal life.

The temple of Venkateshwara in the Tirupati district of Andhra Pradesh is dedicated to the Venkateshwara avatar of Lord Vishnu, who, it is believed as per the local folklore, had come down to earth to deliver the people on this planet from the negative effects of the Kali Yuga (The Rule of the Negative Powers). The temple is located in the Tirumala Hills and is also known as the ‘Kali Yuga Pratyaksha Daivam’.

Tryst with Boyfriends

Though the current status of her relationship with Shikhar Pahariya is undergoing several thoughts and speculations as to, what it could be in reality, as per a report, the actress herself has accepted in an interview that she had been smitten by someone in her younger days also and that was her first experience with a boyfriend in the literal sense of the term. However, things did not turn out quite nicely between her and her first-ever unknown lover as her family had been strongly objecting to her decision to continue any kind of relationship with that boy. The reasons were the lies that she would frequently tell her parents about that particular lover and her feelings of disapproval about that person by her parents. In an interview with an online news portal, the actress revealed, “My first ever serious boyfriend was that same ‘chup-chup ke mileage (meet in hiding) ‘jhooth bol bol ke’ (we will lie about each other) all of that and but unfortunately that relationship ended because I had to lie so much and mom and dad were like ‘No you will never have a boyfriend’… very conservative. And that’s when I realized having your parent’s approval and having transparency with them makes everything so easy. It makes you feel so much more confident about your decisions.” The actress also felt at the same time that, whether some person gets engaged in a relationship or not, it is important for the person to effectively communicate one’s feelings and decisions regarding these aspects of life to their parents to gather proper approval from the parents and be transparent about the relationships. She has revealed that her experience with her first boyfriend has taught her the importance of gaining the trust of her parents before getting engaged to somebody in her life. On top of that, she has added that her choice of the profession of an actress in the Hindi movie industry has changed her perception about love and falling in love,  “There’s a lot of fun in staring out of the window… watching the rain drops fall.”

Currently, Janhvi Kapoor is on the ‘Shikhar’

Whatever might have happened with her first boyfriend, it seems that Janhvi Kapoor has probably reached the ‘Shikhar’ (summit) of her love life as she is currently being spotted quite frequently with her rumoured paramour Shikhar Pahariya on numerous occasions so far. Last month, both of them were spotted visiting the residence of her step-brother Arjun Kapoor in the same car. Both of them were caught sitting quite closely with each other. On top of that, Shikhar Pahariya was also spotted alongside Boney Kapoor, the producer and father of Janhvi Kapoor at several events, such as the ‘Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre’ that was launched by Nita and Mukesh Ambani in Mumbai on the 31^st of March in this year.

Recently on the birthday of Janhvi Kapoor, it was Shikhar Pahariya, who decided to post the first comment congratulating her and that too with a red heart emoticon. He also commented, “Happy birthday,” underneath the picture.

Though none of the parties have opened up about their relationship publicly, their closeness and frequent presence with each other and the families of each other have created several speculations and thoughts about them as paramours in real life. Jhanvi Kapoor is now gearing up for her next movie, ‘Mr and Mrs Mahi’, with actor Rajkumar Rao.
