One of the best movies that Salman Khan has to offer to the Indian audience would be the ‘Tiger’ movie series. These consist of movies such as ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ and ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ respectively. As a person who loves to watch spy action thrillers such as the ‘James Bond’ and ‘Mission Impossible’ movies, I was very pleased to see that Bollywood had also started to explore the genre on spies when the first film of Salman Khan in this genre, ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ had first come out back in 2012. The movie was not really as excellent as the spy films from Hollywood but still had a unique storyline and a good message to offer to everyone. Its sequel which was titled, ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’, was a better movie with more action and less emphasis on romance. Both of the movies faired so good at the box office that the producers decided to make a cinematic universe based on the characters in these films. The cinematic universe also contains Shah Rukh Khan’s character from ‘Paathan’ and Hrithik Roshan’s character from ‘War’ as well. I was very excited to know that Bollywood’s cinematic universe will be action packed just like the DC, Marvel and Monsterverse movies from Hollywood. In fact, I am currently looking forward to having a glimpse of the trailer of ‘Tiger 3’ which will be a sequel to ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’. In this blog, let me take you on a tour of the several things that we can expect from the trailer and the movie itself.
The ‘Tiger’ Comes To Roar and Slash at the Box Office
The trailer of ‘Tiger 3’ will be released on October 16, 2023. It will be the third instalment of the ‘Tiger’ movie series featuring Salman Khan in the titular role of an Indian RAW agent who can do anything to save India from the perils of the anti-Indian forces that are in function. From what I have heard the movie will also feature Katrina Kaif who will be back in her role as ‘Zoya’, ‘Tiger’s wife who stands by his side in his fight against national threats despite the differences in their approach to combat the evil.
However, what has got me even more excited is the mysterious role of the actor Emraan Hashmi in this movie. It will be the first time for the Indian audience to see Mr. Hashmi share the screen with some of the most major names in Bollywood which of course includes Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif. If the rumours are true then we will get to see Emraan Hashmi’s character in a negative light, fighting Salman Khan’s ‘Tiger’ on the screen. Possibly, this would be the first time that the ‘Kissing Master’ of the Hindi move industry would be packing in some kicks and punches on the screen. At the same time, I am also eager to see the most coveted appearances by Shah Rukh Khan as ‘Paathan’ and Hrithik Roshan’s character of ‘Kabir’ from ‘War’ to join the fight as well. Another exciting fact is that the ‘RRR’ actor NTR Junior from the South is also supposed to play an important negative character in the movie, who will get introduced in this film and will also play a major part in the sequel of Hrithik Roshan’s ‘War’. From what I have heard, this character might also be a negative one as well.
The movie will be set after the events in ‘War’ and ‘Paathan’. It will show Salman Khan’s character of ‘Tiger’ out to save his family from a threat that has wrongfully accused him of being a traitor.
My Final Thoughts on ‘Tiger 3’…
I am pretty sure that ‘Tiger 3’ will be a massive hit at the box office. This is because none of the movies in Spy Universe have been unsuccessful so far. And let’s not forget that people still love larger-than-life action movies as was seen by the success of ‘Jawan’ and ‘Paathan’. Also, the hype around is also very much intense as everyone wants to know what happened to ‘Tiger’ after the events of ‘Paathan’. It will also be great to see Mr. Emraan Hashmi back after a long time and that too in a totally different avatar. As someone who has loved all the movies of the spy universe of Bollywood, I am excited to see how this movie will satisfy the Indian audience. Thus, I wait with much eager and patience as to see how everything unfolds on the big screen and whether ‘Tiger’ really gets to roar loud at the box office or not.
