GREEN PULAO RECIPE

“Hara Pulao,” another name for green pulao, is a delicious rice dish that combines a variety of vibrant flavors. It tastes like a delightful symphony of herbs, spices, and vegetables in your mouth.

Green pulao is typically made for special occasions like celebrations or to add some excitement to regular meals. It’s a dish that makes meals feel flavorful and cozy, bringing people together.

I’ll now list the ingredients you’ll need to make this delicious rice.

INGREDIENTS

  • Basmati rice, 2 cups
  • Capsicum 1 medium-sized chopped
  • Green peas, 1 cup
  • Green coriander leaves 100 grams( 1 small bunch)
  • Green Chili 2-3
  • Ginger 1 inch long piece
  • Cloves 4
  • Black pepper 6
  • Cardamom 3-4 (Elaichi)
  • Cinnamon- 1 piece
  • Sugar 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt as per taste
  • Ghee 2 tablespoon
  • Cashew 9-10

 

 

PREPARATION

  1. Wash Basmati rice for 2-3 times. After that, soak the rice in water for 30 minutes.
  2. Chop the vegetables like capsicum, coriander leaves and ginger.
  3. Now mix the coriander leaves and green chilies together and make a fine paste in the mixer.
  4. Heat the oil and ghee in a pan and add the cloves, cardamom, and cinnamon, fry them for a few minutes.
  5. Then add chopped capsicum, green peas, and ginger paste, and fry for 2 minutes.
  6. Add the soaked rice and coriander paste to it, stir for 3–4 minutes.
  7. Then add hot water to the amount of rice and mix.
  8. Add salt as per taste and 1/2 teaspoon sugar.
  9. Cover the pan with a lid and run it on a low flame until the rice is cooked.
  10. Once you can see the rice is ready, turn off the gas and add 1/2 teaspoon ghee and 1 teaspoon garam masala.
  11. For garnishing, you need to add fried cashews.
    Your tasty mouthwatering green polao is ready to serve.

 

 

SHAHI PANEER RECIPE

Shahi paneer is a rich gravy made with paneer in a tomato based gravy with cream, butter or ghee to make it delicious. This is a traditional recipe that has been followed by Indian cuisine. Shahi means royalty and its origins are in the Indian state of Panjab,

Consisting of cooked fresh paneer with tomatoes and various spices.  This recipe is very easy to make in every household. So now I will tell you what the ingredients are needed for this recipe.

 

INGREDIENTS

  • Paneer ( cubed into 1 inch pieces): 250 grams
  • 1 medium-crushed tomatoes
  • 2 medium onions
  • 5-6 cashew nuts
  • 1 teaspoon coriander seeds ( roasted )
  • 1-2 cloves ( lavang)
  • 1/2 piece of bay leaf
  • 1 piece of cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste
  • 2 Green cinnamons
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 spoon red chilli powder
  • 1/2 coriander powder
  • 1/3 cup curd
  • 1 teaspoon melon seeds (magaz)
  • 3 cups of warm water
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of fresh cream
  • 1/4 teaspoon garam masala
  • 2-3 strands of saffron dissolve in 1 teaspoon water
  • 3 tablespoon oil or ghee
  • Salt to taste
  • 1-2 kasoori methi for garnishing

 

 

PREPARATION

  1. Take the nut and 2 tablespoons of chopped cashew,
  2. 1 tablespoon melon seeds ( magaz) in a bowl and rinse them couple of time with water.
  3. Drain the water and set it aside.
  4. Make a fine paste of cashew and melon seeds with a blender.
  5. Cube the onion and tomatoes, chop the ginger, green chillies, and garlic.
  6. Heat a pan with a teaspoon of oil or ghee, add cardamom, cinnamon, and bay leaves.
  7. Then add chopped onion, green chilies, chopped ginger, and garlic. Fry until transparent.
  8. Add chopped tomatoes and cook; cover the pan until mushy.
  9. Cool, blend in a mixture, and strain it.
  10. Keep the paneer in hot water until use.
  11.  Heat the pan with the remaining oil or ghee and add the strain mixture.
  12.  Add tomato puree, salt, red chilli powder, pepper powder, garam masala, and turmeric powder, and cook.
  13. Fry till oil separates and form like a thick paste.
  14. Then add cashew paste to it.
  15.  Add fresh paneer cubes and drain them from the water.
  16.  Add milk and keep stirring, then add cream, mix well.
  17. Heat in low flame for 2-3 minutes.
  18. Then switch off the flame, and your tasty mouth-watering, delicious Shahi paneer is ready to serve.
