It is no new news that the very mention of the word ‘alien’ sort of sets the world in a frenzy. From kids to adults, the concepts of aliens and the species in general have always remained an absolute point of interest for many. In a recent development, the Mexican journalist and self-proclaimed Unidentified Flying Object (commonly known as the UFO) presented before the Mexican Congress as well as the world some fossils that he claims to be remains of some species that do not have much connection to any form of life that can be found on earth. This claim and the production of the fossils have sparked massive debates among researchers from all over the world.

“We Are Not Alone”

Presented in a watertight glass coffin and kept on a cloth, the corpses of those creatures that are alleged to be ‘aliens’ looked something like a uniquely carved-out statue made out of stone. Though most of his previous research and discoveries regarding the existence of aliens or unidentified beings on the earth have been debunked heavily because of lack of evidence, this time the self-proclaimed expert in alien science comes forward in the Mexican congress and testified before the lawmakers about the authenticity of his shocking as well as intriguing discoveries. He asserted with much confidence that the bodies that had been discovered by him were unearthed almost 6 years ago, in the year 2017 from the region of Cusco in the country of Peru. He further claimed that the corpses were passed through the process of 14 stages of radiocarbon dating that revealed them to be somewhat around 18000 years old.

The claims might sound wild as these have been presented without any verification from third-party sources that could be counted as authentic and reliable. The claims were presented on Tuesday, the 13^th of September at the congressional hearing of Mexican legislators regarding the existence of UAP (commonly known as the ‘Unidentified Anomalous or Aerial Phenomena’). This term was coined in the present by the government of the United States of America (the USA).

“This is the first time (extraterrestrial life) is presented in such a form and I think there is a clear demonstration that we are dealing with non-human specimens that are not related to any other species in our world,” was the testimony of Jaime Maussan, originally given in Spanish.

However, as stated earlier, the genetic composition of the creatures, as per the claims made by Jaime Maussan, have so far been recognized to be “not part of our terrestrial evolution.”

It has been testified before the Mexican legislative assembly that one of the specimens that have been presented as evidence to the existence of aliens contains eggs or ovaries that are quite similar to that of the female reproductive elements in the human body. However, as far as the other specimen is concerned, it has been seen that there is an abnormal presence of rare metals such as ‘Osmium’ in the body. However, several such claims of his have been rejected by researchers, touting those to be either hoaxes or a desperate and fabricated attempt on the part of Jaime Maussan to establish himself as an authentic and reliable authority on the existence of aliens.

In the year 2015, Jaime Maussan claimed that he had been able to discover a corpse of, what seemed to him to be an alien. This was found in the Nazca region of Peru. However, the claim turned out to be a complete hoax as the fact-checking website ‘snopes.com’ unearthed the truth behind those alleged alien corpses. As per the fact-checking website, the bodies that were discovered were none other than human bodies of young children, who were probably mummified by the burial rituals of ancient religions. The abnormality in the structure of the heads was a result of the practice of elongation of skulls that was followed as per the rituals of ancient tribes. The practice included tying heads with clothes, ropes or even wooden boards to give them that strange shape. “The previous discovery of mummies with elongated skulls in Peru, like that shown in the Gaia video, has prompted similar wild speculation about alien species. But anthropologists have explained that elongated skulls are the result of an ancient practice of artificial cranial deformation, in which young children had their heads bound in cloth, rope, or even wooden boards, possibly as part of a religious ritual,” said a report.

However, these did not deter Jaime Maussan from continuing with his pursuit of the aliens. Earlier in this year, he once again cited evidence for his claim to be, what seemed like an unidentified flying object (commonly referred to as the ‘UFO’). He uploaded a photograph of the same hovering above the FC Juárez soccer stadium, resembling that of “a ship of nonhuman origin.” “I share that the case was analyzed with AI equipment, and everything indicates that we are facing an unidentified anomalous phenomenon ‘UAP’, (Kyiv) scientists call these ships ‘Ghost’ for being dark objects,” wrote Jaime Maussan in his social media account of ‘X’ (formerly known as the ‘Twitter’).

Not Just Mexico but the US Congress Debated Too

Before the debates and speculations that started in the South American nation of Mexico, the United States legislative assembly, referred to as the Congress, had also debating over this issue for quite some time now. Two months before the discovery of so-called ‘alien’ fossils in Mexico, the United States Congress decided to hold discussions regarding this topic with their members in order to attempt to find out the veracity of the matter.

An erstwhile pilot in the American Naval forces, Ryan Graves, was one of those three retired members of the army, who had been testifying at the July hearing that was held in Congress regarding the existence of aliens, had made their special appearance in the Mexican legislative assembly on Tuesday, the 12^th of September to testify before the lawmakers and extend their support towards the claims regarding the existence of fossils of aliens that have been made by Jaime Maussan. Ryan Graves, who currently serves as the Executive director of an organization called the ‘Americans for Safe Aerospace’, has always been vocal about the perils that pilots in the American airspace had to experience during their alleged encounters with some unidentified flying objects that could not even be fathomed with the application of the best of the human technologies.

David Grusch, a retired intelligence official from the United States of America, had testified before a congregation of members in the ‘House Oversight Subcommittee’ regarding his confidential knowledge of a secret program that had been started by the Pentagon to regain possession of and then examine spaceships allegedly belonging to the aliens. However, he had to say this about the whole issue of the discovery of the corpses of aliens in his social media account of ‘X’ (formerly known as ‘Twitter’), “Yesterday’s demonstration was a huge step backwards for this issue.”I am deeply disappointed by this unsubstantiated stunt.” He felt that the entire issue has been “grossly under-reported.”
