Chicken Wonton is one of the most delicious snacks because it is classically boiled in a soup that tastes so good, and the most interesting part of this food is that everyone likes this snack, especially the children, and also it is very easy to make, just within 30 minutes, you can get a full bowl of Chicken Wontons with hot and warm soup, which is very delicious.
Chicken Wontons are little morsels that contain stuffing of chicken mixed with some spices, which makes them more delicious. They are wrapped in an all-purpose flour wrapper made from a dough that I am going to share over here, and the way I use to make it, that’s a very easy process. so let’s get started.
INGREDIENTS
- Minced Chicken (250g)
- 2 teaspoons finely chopped spring onions
- 2 teaspoons finely chopped garlic
- 2 teaspoons finely chopped ginger
- 3 teaspoons finely chopped fresh coriander stems
- 1/2 teaspoon corn starch
- 1/4 MSG
- Salt as per taste
- 2 tablespoons of black paper
- All-purpose flour (as much as you need)
- 2 teaspoon vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon of soy sauce
- 5 teaspoon of Refined oil
INSTRUCTIONS FOR MAKING THE CHICKEN WONTON WRAPPERS
- First of all, make a soft and nice dough with the all-purpose flour and keep it aside.
- Now cut small pieces of the dough, then sprinkle some flour on the kitchen slab, and then roll out the small pieces of dough with a roller and give it a thin and round shape.
- Your Chicken Wonton’s wrappers are ready; just make sure that you are sprinkling flour on the surface of the wrapper so that it couldn’t stick to the other at the bottom.
- Now take a bowl, add water into it, then add 1 teaspoon corn flour and all-purpose flour into it and make a gluey texture (here it will work as glue for sticking the Chicken Wonton wrappers).
STEPS FOR MAKING THEÂ CHICKEN WONTON STUFFING
- Take a bowl and put the minced chicken into it.
- Now take the chopped spring onions, garlic, ginger, coriander, MSG, soy sauce, vinegar, black paper, salt and mix them all together.
- The stuffing of the Wonton is ready.
THE FINAL STEP FOR MAKING CHICKENÂ WONTON
*First of all, go into your kitchen and heat a boiling pan or a steamer (like a Momo steamer) and put 2 bowls of water in it, then boil the water.
*Now take one wrapper on your palm, put the stuffing of chicken into it, then on the edges of the wrapper, just apply that corn starch mixture or paste, and after that, wrap the wontons.
*Now, after the water got boiled, add ginger paste, garlic paste, soy sauce, MSG, vinegar, and most importantly, the black paper powder and salt. Now quickly mix it and put the wontons into it.
*Now wait for the water to boil and convert into a smooth and thick consistency.
*Now drop the wontons into the soup and then slow the heat and boil it for a while.
*Your wantons are ready to serve; just take a bowl and pour the hot soup into it, then slowly put the wontons in the soup.
Now there is also a dip or sauce that enhances the flavor of Chicken wontons_

NOTES:
- You can also fry the Chicken Wontons just after wrapping them, and believe me, it will become another tempting dish.
- You can also use tomato ketchup in place of the wonton dip.
- You can skip the MSG, but believe me, MSG gives a mouth-covering feeling that will make you want to eat more.
- You can use butter in place of oil in the soup.
- You can also use vegetable stuffing in place of non-veg stuffing.
