ABOUT BROASTED CHICKEN
Broasted chicken is different from fried chicken. This fried chicken recipe gives you a similar taste to KFC fried chicken, and it is very easy to make.
This crunchy fried chicken recipe boasts a crisp coating and pairs with garlic sauce. Broasting combines pressure frying and traditional shallow frying to create succulent pieces of fried chicken. The method starts by soaking the chicken in spices and seasonings before placing it in a sealed pressure cooker with hot oil. This roasted chicken enjoys great popularity in Arabian countries. A chain in Arabia called ‘AI Baik’ offers this delicious roasted chicken. For this recipe, I’ve used basic spices. However, it’s crucial to remember the chicken’s marinating time. Marinating ensures the chicken stays tender and juicy allowing it to absorb all the flavors and become delicious. I tried this Broasted chicken for the first time but I never thought it would be so amazing in taste. So let’s talk about how I make it and what ingredients I have used for the Broasted chicken.
INGREDIENTS
Chicken: 1 kg bone in chicken ( I used chicken wings and thighs or drumsticks)
Egg: 2
Oil to deep fry for the chicken.
FOR MARINATING THE CHICKEN
2 cups of milk
2 tablespoons of lemon juice
2 tablespoons of black pepper powder
2 tablespoon garlic paste
1 tablespoon ginger and green chili paste
1 teaspoon smoke paprika power
2 teaspoons of oregano
2 tablespoon vinegar
Salt to taste
1 pinch baking soda
FOR COOKING THE CHICKEN:
3 cups of flour
2 tablespoons of black pepper powder
1 teaspoon red chili powder
1 tablespoon garlic powder
Salt to taste
HOW TO MAKE THE BROASTED CHICKEN

FOR MARINATION OF BROASTED CHICKEN
1. Wash the chicken clearly and keep aside.
2. Take 2 cups of milk in a bowl and add 2 tablespoon of lemon juice, and keep aside for 5–10 minutes.
3. Take all the ingredients, like black pepper, ginger garlic paste, red chili powder, paprika power, red chili sauce, green chili paste, baking soda, oregano, and salt to taste, and mix them together.
4. But make sure in the batter there are no lumps.
5. Add the chicken and soak it in the spiced milk marinade Prepare for 8–10 hours.
COATING THE RAW MEAT FOR BROASTED CHICKEN
1. In another bowl, add 3 cups of flour, 2 tablespoons of black pepper powder, 1 teaspoon of red chili powder, 1 teaspoon of oregano, and salt to taste, and mix it well.
2. Take a piece of chicken, shake the access marinade and coat in the flour mix.
3. Coat all other pieces similarly and keep them aside.
4. Add 2 eggs to the leftover marinade and mix it well.
5. Deep each of the coated chicken pieces in the egg marinade mixture and roll them in the flour mixture for the second coating.
6. Heat the oil in a pan.
7. Once the oil has heated enough for frying, fry the chicken pieces in batches.
8. Cook the chicken pieces with the lid for 4-5 minutes.
9. Fry the chicken until golden brown on all sides and the chicken is cooked properly.
10. Now your delicious, crispy, crunchy roasted chicken is ready to serve.
You can serve this roasted chicken with mayo dip.
TIPS
- Marinate the chicken for at least 6 hours, or you can marinate the chicken overnight in the refrigerator.
- Add spices according to your taste.
- Make sure you double-coat the chicken with flour to give it a crispy exterior.
- When you fry the chicken, make sure the oil is not too hot or too cold. it should be hot enough to fry the chicken.
- Coated chicken pieces can also be frozen in refrigerator over the night, but if you want to fry the chicken, bring them to room temperature before frying the pieces.
