Alia and Sidharth’s association with Koffee with Karan goes a long way back when they made their debut in the show after their first movie Student Of the Year along with Varun Dhawan which was directed by none other than Karan Johar himself. It was believed that Alia and Sid started liking each other during the shoot and were in a relationship for a few years.

As guests on Koffee With Karan on Thursday, Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan will share their experiences with the show. They will also be praised by their Student of the Year co-star Alia Bhatt through a video appearance. A special appearance by Alia Bhatt will be featured on episode 5 of Koffee With Karan 8 about guests Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan.

‘The well mannered Punjabi boy’

Sidharth is a very good singer, according to Alia, who dated him for a while. He is very healthy, so he does not party at all, but he is the best person to get a party going, so that is the inherent Punjabi in him. His knack for getting people going is really good. Also, he’s hilarious, since he’s the first person who falls asleep at his own birthday party.”

‘Alia’s first love’

As she continued, “Sid takes a while to open up, so there is a distance between them. He’s very chivalrous and well mannered, that’s how he is generally. He also has great eyes, which is why he has such a large fan following.”

“I am very grateful to Sid because he has given me my first love, Edward.” Edward is the cat Sidharth gave to Alia while they were dating.

Does Sidharth still misses Alia now?

When asked what he missed most about his ex on Koffee With Karan, Sidharth mentioned her cat. In another interview soon following, he mentioned her cat Edward again.

The actor was asked what one thing he learned from his last relationship during a rapid fire round with Bollywood Hungama. During his last relationship, Sidharth learned to not gift pets. Asked what he would like to steal from Alia Bhatt, the actor replied, “The cat…Edward.” It seems Sidharth also misses Edward.

Sidharth married actor Kiara Advani earlier this year. Alia married actor and long term boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor and has a daughter named Raha.
