by | Jul 10, 2024 | Food, Recipe | 0 comments

Chicken Satay is one of the most delicious and mouth-watering starters, especially when it is served with Peanut Butter Sauce at parties or on many occasions, it gets more delicious. The most interesting thing is that it does not take too much effort to make and also not too many ingredients or not too much oil is needed, and when it comes to the plate to eat, people’s mouths get watered automatically. This is one of the best starter recipes to serve.

The Chicken Satay contains pieces of juicy chicken skewered in it with some fresh veggies. Today am going to share my recipe, the way I used to make Chicken Satay and it’s an easy process to make and it’s going to taste so delicious. So let’s get started.

 INGREDIENTS FOR CHICKEN SATAY

  • Chicken Breast (cubed into pieces) 400 grams
  • Wooden skewers (soaked in water for 15 minutes)
  • 2 Tablespoon of Hot paper sauce
  • 5 cloves of chopped garlic
  • 2 tablespoon Soya sauce
  • 1 capsicum and 1 onion (cut into cubes)
  • 1 tablespoon of curry powder
  • 1 tablespoon lemon
  • 1 tablespoon of brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons of creamy peanut butter
  • MSG (optional)

Steps to make Chicken Satay

Step 1

Marination:  Mix the lime juice, peanut butter, hot paper sauce, Brown sugar, curry powder, soya sauce, chopped garlic, salt, MSG, and chicken breast and keep it in a Refrigerator for 2 to 3 hours.

Step 2

Now take the skewers out of the water and plug a cube of capsicum and onion then put the pieces of chicken and again put a capsicum and onion then put chicken and carry on the same process and fill the whole skewer like that.

Step 3

Take a pan, put it in a gas oven, and heat it. Then put 2 tablespoons of oil in the pan then put the skewered chicken in the pan and fry it. Once it gets fried then rotate the skewered chicken and fry the other side. There is also a unique and classic way of frying which is called barbecuing and in that regards you need a barbeque and some broken Coals, then heat it up. Then put an iron net and then put the Skewered chicken into it.

Step 4

When the chicken turns a bit brown, that means your chicken is done. Now remove the chicken skewers from the pan put them onto a plate and serve it.

Your Chicken Satay with Fresh Peanut Butter Sauce is ready to serve.

Notes:

  • If you are vegetarian then you can also use Paneer in the place of chicken.
  • If you want uniqueness in your satay, just make a batter of cornflour, all-purpose flour, a whole egg, salt, white paper, red chili powder, refined oil, and 3 spoons of water. Now take a pan and put 200 ml of refined oil into it. Then dip the skewered chicken into the batter and fry it on the medium hot oil, until your Batter Fried Chicken Satay is ready.
  • If you are not having the peanuts or not getting them easily you can also serve it with just normal Tomato ketchup.
  • If don’t want to fry it in a pan you can also use a micro-oven, just take a bowl or the micro oven’s plate brush some butter into it and put the marinated skewered chicken into the plate, and again brush some oil on the skewered chicken, then set it on  212 degrees Fahrenheit (100 degrees Celsius).
