Pros:-

Maruti had announced a recall of 17,362 cars over a faulty airbag controller. This recall includes units of the S-Presso manufactured between December 08 and January 12. If the airbag controller is defective, it might not deploy the airbag and seat belt pretensioners during the case of an accident. Inspection and replacement of the faulty part will be done for free and Maruti’s authorised service centres will contact the owners of the affected vehicles. Maruti has asked the affected owners not to drive their vehicles until inspected.

We think the Maruti Suzuki S-Presso could have had better structural safety. A passenger side airbag and seat belt reminder for both passengers are  standard on top trims only.
  • The engine is a bit noisy and the sound deadening could have been much better, especially from the engine bay.
