HIDDEN STORY BEHIND JAGANNATH TEMPLE

by | Feb 5, 2024 | History | 0 comments

There is a story of miracle in Puri of Orissa state of India which is not within the reach of science to understand. Science, Geography, Physics, Chemistry and all the grounds of believers of the world fail here. Hindus believe that there are four Dham Badrinath Dham, Dwarkadhish Dham, Rameswaram and Jagannathan Puri. This is the story of Jagannath Puri where the real heart of LORD SHRI KHRISNA still beats. There is such a secret of this temple that anyone’s senses will blow away after hearing about it. By following western culture, we have reached a point where people have started raising question about the existence or non-existence of God.

While in every temple the idols are made of metals and stone, in Jagannath temple idols of God are made of wood. Why is that so? As because in 3102 BC while hunting a hunter named Zara accidentally shot an arrow at the feet of LORD SHRI KHRISNA due to which LORD SHRI KHRISNA died. Zara performed the last rites of LORD SHRI KHRISNA with full rituals but when his funeral pyre subsided then Zara saw that a shining metal thing was not yet burnt. Zara didn’t understand what it was so he picked it up and went out to sell it but no one even touched it, let alone buying it, then finally tired of defeat, Zara placed the metal thing on a wood and floated in water.

King Indandione of Avanti during Gupta empire was a great devotee of Lord Vishnu. One day Lord Vishnu appeared in his dream and asked him to take a dip in a river and also said that he would meet him in that river in form of a wooden trunk. Seeing this dream, the next day theKing went to take a dip. While taking a dip, the King also saw the wooden trunk a short distance away in the river, without any delay the King reached the trunk and took it to the palace. Then the king called many famous carpenters but none of them could able to make a statue from that wood. After several days had passed, a carpenter came to the palace and told the King that I will make this statue but I have one condition. The King asked carpenter about his condition because the King was ready to accept any condition , so the carpenter said he needs twenty one days to make the Idol and I don’t want anyone to talk to me or meet me before 21 days and not get involved in any of my work.

The King happily accepted this condition and the work of making the idol started there were sounds of Idol being made every day but gradually those sound stopped. Queen of Avanti felt that carpenter had died due to hunger and thirst, hence she insisted to opening the door of the room where the work of the Idol was going on and the King had to accept her words as soon as the door opened they saw that there were no carpenter only and only 3 Idols are there they were Lord Jagannath his brother Lord Bal Bhadra and his sister Goddess Subhadra and that metal thing was also kept in the Idol of Lord Jagannath which was nothing but beating heart of LORD SHRI KHRISNA.This is not a normal human heart this is a clear evidence of ancient advanced technology. This heart transmit energy and we all studied that stones and metals are good conductor of electricity and wood is a bad conductor of electricity that is why Idols in Jagannath temple are made up of wood but not this only in every 12 years a new Idols of God established and the heart of God shifted to that new Idol. This is done because the energy transmitting device if we talk scientifically in that Idol transmits so much energy that the wood gets depleted with time and that is why it had to be change.
