Who Has Called PM Narendra Modi A “Panauti”?: BJP Seeks Strict Action Against The Person Accused Of This Heinous Act

by | Nov 24, 2023 | INDIAN POLITICS | 0 comments

Indian politics offers high-voltage dramas for Indians to consume time and again. If you switch on the TV and then shift to Hindi news channels, you will witness heated verbal wars taking place between the representatives of two political parties. Gossipy stuff easily attracts the eyeballs of everyone, especially when it comes to Indian politics. Indians tend to be keenly interested to learn more about any gossip or rumour.

Regular jibing at members of other political parties is very common among Indian politicians. With the intention of maligning the image of other ministers, some Indian politicians have the tendency to cross the line and say something that is utterly disgusting and morally incorrect. Politicians must ensure to maintain the fine line and stay away from saying something that is entirely disgraceful and shameful.

Who Has Called PM Narendra Modi A “Panauti”?

Rahul Gandhi, a well-known face from the Congress Party camp, has recently called the Prime Minister of India, Mr. Narendra Modi, a Panauti during an interaction with the public. A group of BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party) members have raised a complaint to the Election Commission of India regarding this act and have asked the ECI to take stringent action against Rahul Gandhi on this issue. The BJP also recalled the former Prime Minister of India, Mrs. Indira Gandhi’s controversial statement that she made against the Indian Hockey Team in 1982 during the Asian Games final. Indira Gandhi’s highly controversial statement that was very insulting to the Indian Hockey Team caused a stir among Indians and embarrassed the former PM subsequently.

On the other hand, eminent members of the BJP camp, General Secretary Mr. Radha Mohan Das Agarwal and Functionary Mr. Om Pathak, reached out to the Election Commission of India to take stringent action against Congress Leader Mr. Mallikarjun Kharge, blaming him for wrongfully and baselessly claiming that PM Narendra Modi’s caste was included in the OBC list of Gujarat when Modi was the Chief Minister of the state. According to Mallikarjun Kharge’s accusations, PM Modi’s “Ghanchi caste”, which is a community that conventionally deals in the work of oil pressing, was incorporated into the OBC list in the year 1999 with the help of Modi.

Kharge & Gandhi’s Statements: Against Moral Values

The BJP further added that Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge are known to spread misinformation as well as are habitual liars, and must face strict legal action owing to their jibeful statements against the BJP and PM Narendra Modi. It is observed several times that Rahul and Kharge cross the fine line and show no respect for guidelines for the Model Code of Conduct and moral values, which are otherwise expected from politicians and ministers.

BJP General Secretary Mr. Radha Mohan Das Agarwal slammed Rahul Gandhi by calling Gandhi an “uneducated, senseless, and valueless” individual with a “ghatiya” mindset and insulting a global leader like PM Narendra Modi, who is respected worldwide. The BJP had asked the ECI to intervene immediately in this matter and take prohibitory actions against the two. While giving a speech at a meeting in Rajasthan recently, Rahul Gandhi directed the “Panauti” word at PM Narendra Modi, attributing it to the Indian Cricket Team losing the World Cup because of the PM. “Panauti” is a Hindi word that means someone who brings bad luck.

CM Himanta Biswa Sarma’s Take On This Matter

Meanwhile, Assam’s Chief Minister, Mr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, has a wicked take on this matter. Mr. Sarma took the verbal war a notch higher by attacking Congress in his own way. He said that he believed the reason for India’s loss at the World Cup was because the match was played on Indira Gandhi’s birthday. It is a war of words, and CM Himanta Biswa Sarma is the newest entrant into the controversy. Mr. Sarma’s statement has now irked the Congress Party camp. High-ranking ministers and leaders must refrain from saying anything that tarnishes their or their party’s image.

The Controversial Image Of Rahul Gandhi

The BJP took a jibe at Congress frontman Rahul Gandhi this year during his visit to the USA. In his attempt to malign the image of PM Narendra Modi, Rahul Gandhi ends up insulting his own country, either directly or indirectly. During his six-day visit to the USA this year, Rahul claimed that the BJP is controlling all the major political institutions in India and went on his spree of shaming the present Prime Minister of India.

At that time, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Mr. Prahlad Joshi had commented that Rahul Gandhi is a “fake Gandhi who knows nothing”. Mr. Joshi also added that it’s funny that a man who knows nothing has suddenly become an ace in every field. Rahul Gandhi was also convicted in a defamation case for his foul remark on the Modi community. His awful remarks have always sparked controversies, leading to his embarrassment in the end.
