The 8th of July has been celebrated as national video game day, and it reminds us of our past childhood days when we played video games in our house during vacations. Now we are very busy in our daily lives, but the sound and sight create nostalgia in our lives, and some others feel adventures in their lives. National Video Game Day provides us with the opportunity to celebrate the day with others who love video games and with members of our family who are unaware of the day.

HISTORY OF NATIONAL VIDEO GAME DAY

Gaming is a very serious business, and it is a hobby for some people who make their livelihood by playing video games. The foremost YouTuber, PewDiePie, is the shining example of someone who leads his life by only playing video games. Video games have come a long way from school arcade games to elaborate digital storylines. Many video games are far better than action movies, and among them, the action video game “Batman: Arkham” series is the best action video game of all time, and the story has received more appreciation than some recent “Batman” Hollywood productions.

The earliest video games were moderated in universities, and some experimental games like tic-tac-toe, which was invented by Dr.Edward Uhler Condon, This game was the first example of a gaming machine, introduced in 1940 at the New York World’s Fair. The game showcased was based on the mathematical game “Nim” and was played by more than 50,000 people during the time on display. The computer algorithm won more than 90% of all games played.

The father of gaming, Ralph Baer, invented the Brown Box in 1967, which was the first-ever game system used for commercial purposes. This incident inspired Atari to create a new game called “Pong.”. Someone tried to copyright it, but Atari released a new version of the Atari 2600. Through this, many iconic games like “Donkey Kong” and Pac Man” were invented and developed.

After the crashing scene of a game in 1983, Japan-based Company Nintendo released some gaming franchises like “Super Mario Bros. and The Legend of Zelda” and smashed all previous records. The competition grew when Sega hit the market and the new era of 3D gaming started.

Some new gaming companies, like Sony’s PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Wii, have kicked off all other primitive gaming companies. Video games have covered all the bases, from the digital platform to all stores. The online gaming community has evolved, and the popularity of smartphones since 2007 has created a lot of demand for mobile games. Although some games are strictly prohibited on the digital platform, some big companies are trying to make breakthroughs in VR gaming.
