It refers to procedures such as washing, conditioning, moistening and the most important one, or rather protecting the hair from any harm from the exterior factors, heat or chemical rendering. here’s 7 effective Haircare routine you should add to your daily life
Oiling
Oiling is necessary for hair to keep it healthy and strong. Oil your hair at least two to three times a week. Regularly oiling to your scalp can help to reduce hair fall, dryness and swelling. If you don’t have that much times for oiling regularly then at least oil your hair once in a week. According to your hair length and hair porosity apply hair oil. If you over oil your hair then it leads greasy scalp.
Apply hair masks
Hair masks are the best to provide deep nourishment and moisturizing that penetrates into your hair strands to hydrate, strengthen, and frizz free and manageable hair. Once in a week apply hair mask – I will tell you 3 hair masks which you can use:
To prepare Yogurt hair mask take yogurt according to your hair length then add honey into it add 1 tablespoon castor oil, 1 tablespoon olive oil, 2 or 1 egg (it’s optional if you don’t like eggs then you can skip this step). Keep it for 1 hour then washes it with normal water or you can shampoo your hair also.
To prepare flaxseed gel mask you need half cup of water and 3 to 4 tablespoon of flax seeds boil this over a medium flame for 10 min until the consistency started looking like gel. Allow these flax seed gels to rest until it cools down now the gel consistency will look thicken. Then strain the flax seed gel with the help of thin straining net cloth and start squeezing the gel into a clean bowl. Apply this on the hair and leave it for an hour then wash it with normal water.
To prepare fenugreek seeds hair mask take 3 to 4 tablespoon of fenugreek seeds soak overnight in water milk or coconut milk next morning grind it and make a fine paste then apply from roots to ends. Then wash it with using mild shampoo.
Only use conditioner on lengths
Conditioner can only be applied from middle to end of your hair. For extra nourishment and hydration you can add little bit honey and 3 to 4 drops of olive oil (olive oil is optional) mix it together and apply all over your length properly. Leave it for 5 to 10 min then wash it properly. Make sure to use the right conditioner according to hair types.
Shampoo your hair twice – Shampoo your hair helps to remove dirt, oil build up residue. 1st wash help to remove oil build up dirt residue from your scalp. 2nd wash helps to proper clean your hair. But don’t over shampoo your hair it can lead to dull and frizzy hair and remove natural oils and often can dry your hair. Shampoo only 2 times a week only, if your scalp is oily then washes 3 times a week.
Combing when your hair is wet – Avoid combing wet hair because it can cause hair brittle and hair fall. But, if you are combing wet hair then follow these points:
1) Avoid pulling or tugging
2) Squeeze wet hair with a micro fibre towel or normal light towel but don’t rub your hair.
3) Care your hair while you are sleeping make loose braid or bun or you can also put hair up into sleep cap.
4) Don’t sleep when your hair is wet it will damage your hair from roots.
Apply hair serum
Always apply serum after you wash your hair to lock the moisture and to avoid split ends and frizz. Start with the pea sized amount then warm it up between your hands. Then apply serum on damp hair because on damp hair it works better. Spread evenly from ends of your hair to middle but avoid apply serum on scalp. With help of wide tooth comb distribute the serum from the middle of your hair to the ends.
Don’t use heat styling too much especially in monsoon and winter due to humidity and weather – Over heat styling, doing tight hair styles can cause damage, breakage and hair fall so try to avoid heat styling daily and use a good heat protection serum or spray when you do use heat.
Scalp massaging
Massaging your scalp helps to improve blood circulation, which can help with hair loss and hair thinning and can stimulate hair follicles.
Protect your hair from sun damage and humidity. Humidity and sun damage can cause frizz, breakage hair, and especially UV rays can damage your hair. To avoid this, you can cover your head with scarf when you go out.
Apply Egg Conditioner Once In A Month: Once in a month, you can use egg on your hair as a conditioning treatment because eggs contains proteins that can strengthen your hair follicles.
How To De-tangle Your Hair
Always use a wide-tooth comb while brushing your hair. And always start brushing your ends first, gently combing with long strokes from the roots. This will prevent hair from breakage and distribute the natural oils.
Healthy Diet For Good Hair Growth
Maintain healthy diet which can provide nutrients, minerals, proteins iron, zinc, vitamin C, B, and omega 3 that can help to maintain good scalp health and healthy hair growth. You can include foods like chicken, fatty fish, soy products, rich in vitamin c fruits, etc.
